Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19
We are taking the following measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Please refrain from visiting the museum if any of the following apply to you.
You have a fever of 37.5°C or higher when your temperature is taken before entering the museum
You have cold symptoms or feel sick or unwell
You have had symptoms such as fever or coughing in the past two weeks
You have returned from or traveled to another country in the past two weeks, or have had close contact with someone to whom this applies
You have any changes in sense of taste or smell
You are quarantined at home due to close contact with someone who has COVID-19
Your family member is quarantined at home due to close contact with someone who has COVID-19
You took a PCR test under the instruction of a medical institution or public health center, but have not yet received a negative result
You have had a positive PCR test in the past and correspond to one of the following from (1) to (4).
(1) For a symptomatic patient, less than 10 days have passed since the onset of your symptoms, and 72 hours or less have passed since your symptoms improved.
(2) 24 hours after your symptoms improved, you have not yet received negative results from two PCR tests taken 24 hours or more apart.
(3) For an asymptomatic carrier, less than 10 days have passed since your negative test result.
(4) Six days after your positive test, you have not yet received negative results from two PCR tests taken 24 hours or more apart.
Requests to Guests
Wear a Mask
Guests are required to wear a mask inside the museum (except for children ages three and younger) and to cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing.
Wash and Sanitize Your Hands
Make sure to wash and sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizer and disposable vinyl gloves are available at the entrance.
Cooperation with the contact confirmation application
Please download the COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application (COCOA) before visiting.
Considerations before coming to the exhibition
Elderly persons and those with chronic diseases, who are at higher risk for severe illness, should consider carefully before deciding to visit the museum.
Precautions Being Taken
The number of guests inside is limited due to fixed number of seats.
The chair and table are disinfected each time the customer changes.
Your temperature will be taken with a non-contact thermometer before entering.
We have increased the ventilation in the museum.
Protective Screen Shields
Acrylic shields are installed at the reception counters to prevent the spread of airborne illnesses.
Employees Wear Masks
Employees wear masks when interacting with guests.
Staff Health Management
Employees are being conscious about their health. They have their temperatures taken before coming to work and are required to stay home if they have a fever or other cold symptoms.
If it is confirmed that a COVID-19 patient has visited the exhibition, information will be posted on the official website.
